The monitoring units have been designed for interrogating Bragg grating sensors.The system is qualified for the long-term strain or temperature monitoring of buildings or structures, as well as for the measuring of vibrations.
To enhance the customers flexibility, single channel units are available that measure single FBG sensors as well as multi channel units that can measure cascaded FBG sensors (so called FBG Arrays). As a main difference, the maximum sample rate of multi channel is slower than for a single channel FBG unit.
